The Kurt Oddekalv Prize is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Norwegian environmentalist Kurt Willy Oddekalv, who for 30 years had been an uncompromising fighter for preservation of purity of the environment and nature in Norway and the entire Arctic.
  • The purpose of the Prize is to find, encourage and promote independent and talented environmentalists who share the spirit and beliefs of Kurt Oddekalv and continue to fight for the preservation of the environment in the Barents Euro-Arctic Region.
